I am grateful that the clinical hands on experience has boosted my knowledge and skills. We had the opportunity to get acquainted to the cutting edge technology in the healthcare system. I was very eager to learn them all. Besides, taking patient history and updating the electronic medical records, we were exposed to the diagnostic procedures like echocardiography and doppler of extremities. Getting the opportunity to learn the images of rare echo findings was exciting. It was a challenge to quickly interpret EKGs, echo findings and nuclear scan which we could accomplish by the simplified guidance. We observed vascular procedures like coronary angiography, varithena and RFA. I presented on ‘Effects of Dietary approaches to stop hypertension DASH diet and sodium restriction on blood pressure in persons with Diabetes’ which was really appreciated. It was a great and wonderful learning experience. Thank you Dr. khan for the valueable mentorship.
