Dr. Khan is a wonderful mentor, outstanding physician, generous and selfless person. It was an honor for me to work with him. He focused on cleanliness and punctuality along with education. This inspires me a lot. This rotation has been an exceptional experience that has significantly enriched my medical education in different ways.

He determines the potential of a person. He allowed me to communicate with patients and learn the EMR system. I had the opportunity to work with each member of the clinic separately. That’s the best part. I had exposure to all setups from taking vitals, history, examination, procedures, and treatments. I was pleased to learn about the USG of vessels, EKG, stress tests, and echo.

During my rotation, I was exposed to a wide range of complex interesting cardiovascular cases. I was able to see that 100-year-old lady that came for a follow-up. It was so exciting to see the procedures of venaseal, varithena, and venous ablation with him. I asked how to decide to go for either procedure. Dr khan explained that so well that I am immense about the way he told it. He asks questions regarding the procedure and actively involves me in the procedure.

It was Dr. Khan who allowed me to see the Cath lab and procedures and gave me the enthusiasm and more interest to learn the things I loved the most, particularly cardiology.

Dr khan’s expertise and dedication to teaching EKG interpretation and nuclear cardiac studies were truly remarkable. He fostered an environment that encouraged active participation and critical thinking. I had the opportunity to witness and participate in the interpretation of EKG, learning to analyze and identify various cardiac abnormalities. I was taught to learn EKG in 30 seconds.

I had the opportunity to present research from AHA journal on INFECTIONS TRIGGERS CARDIOVASCULAR RISK. Along with my peers, Dr. Khan appreciated the presentation, which boosted my confidence and encouraged me to learn more.

Dr khan, your willingness to collaborate and share your expertise has fostered an environment of trust and mutual respect. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart for your mentorship. Your generosity and expertise have made a significant difference in my life, and I am honored to have been mentored by you. I look forward to staying in touch and continuing to learn from you in the future.
