I had the distinct privilege of working with Dr. Usman Khan during my four-week clinical rotation at Epic Heart and Vascular Center in the month of August. I am delighted to write this testimonial to express my gratitude for his guidance, expertise, and professionalism during my rotation there. Dr. Khan is extremely kind and compassionate, attentively listening to my concerns and thoroughly clarifying medical procedures.<\/p>\n

I shadowed him in the hospital and gained hands-on experience in the clinic by evaluating four to five patients per day, discussing the management plan, and using the electronic medical record (EMR). I was also able to assist him with non-invasive cardiovascular testing, such as stress testing, echocardiography, carotid, lower extremity arterial, and venous duplex scans, and observe various cardiovascular procedures, such as cardiac catheterization, peripheral angiogram\/angioplasty, and venous ablation. He also provided me with the opportunity to deliver a presentation entitled “Combined Lipid-Lowering Therapy in Patients Undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention.”<\/p>\n

When it comes to cardiology, Dr. Khan is at the top of his field. I am really appreciative of the thorough education he gave me and the time he spent to educate and explain to me the nuances of situations and procedures. Throughout my stay there, I saw Dr. Khan’s unwavering commitment to his patients as he continually delivered excellent care.<\/p>\n

Dr. Khan also demonstrated remarkable professionalism and teamwork. He collaborated with other healthcare professionals, and his clear and concise communication style facilitated a streamlined and productive workflow. The nurse practitioners operating under the supervision of Dr. Khan were also extremely cooperative.<\/p>\n

In conclusion, I would strongly recommend Dr. Usman Khan to any extern looking for an exceptional and compassionate cardiologist for rotation.
